Kangaroo Island

One of our state's true wilderness areas Kangaroo Island offers several options to groups who venture across on the short ferry ride. Bushwalk to Hanson Bay and snorkel in the clear waters protected from the southern Ocean swell. Surf one of Australia's best beaches at Vivonne Bay or explore site such as Kelly Hill Caves, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals arch and Little Sahara on a tour of the south coast. There is no shortage of activities on the island and a variety of campsites; from tent camping among the abundant wildlife in Flinders Chase to bunkhouse accommodation at Vivonne Bay Outdoor Education Centre...or somewhere in between at Flinders Chase farm. Other possibilities include Kayaking on the Harriet River and Guided tours at Seal Bay or Cliffords Honey Farm.
